I think it was'nt really based on creative media,and covered more media from the upper year's work it was pretty much like we were advertising there work,personally i didnt have much involment at all in the over all task,i felt pretty much like a useless outcast,the festival was'nt much of one it was from what i know a rushed project, we where sposed to of had the audio part down in the canteen,and the t-shirt's and past work we have been working on ,advertised in one of the media room's along with picture's and poster's,it could of been bigger and much more attrating to people which to be honest it was'nt really,i think we should've made it more bolder by sticking up posters and picture's and should've more videos in other room's explaining about the course and its pupose's because in fact it was the creative media festival and not just meida.i think we should have of work better as a team and now i think we will learn to make sure we finish planning before we start on the main project the we are aiming to complete.
The room we did use was very helpful because we were able to view the projects with out eny interupption's from the sun light etc,and we were able to fit a mojorety of people in the room whilst the presentations ran.over all it was pretty good.

Media and Film Festival Proposal
A film and media festival could take many form's and have lot's of diffrent content's list and discuss the pro's and con's of type's of media that could be showcased at such a festival.
Think about the location of such a festival,would it be local to the college of open to all resident's of crawley.
Think about guest's that might attend the event,who,why?
How much will this event cost?
What time span would this festival cost,remember some festival's are on for a day and other's a month.

Animation/Report
Introductiojn: "A working definition of animation is that it is a film made frame by frame,providing an illusion of movement which has not been directly recorded in the conventional sense"
finding's:We have looked upon such technique's as ,The Phenakistoscope which was created in the early 1830's an optical toy invented by joseph plateau,let's viewer's see moving horse's or acrobat's,we also coverd the bird in a cage illusion, which trick's you in to seeing two objects combined in one whilst spun around.
Also in 1928 the release of disney's synchronised sound cartoon steamboat wille,starring the legendary mickey mouse.also a spin off in disney's history "fantasia" which back in the 1940's was'nt such a big hit with the audience ,but now is much appreciated by disney lover's.
Anime creation's such as Nausicaa of the valley of the wind and Hayao Miyazaki's Spirit away became the most succesful feature ever (foreign or domestic) at the japanese box office which later wan an oscar.
Back in the early 19's Blackton used the chalk animation in humorou's Phases of funny face's,was often cited as the world's first cartoon
Duck amuck-was realesed in early 1953,the story is based on a story within a story in a cartoon it's revalutate's the world of animation by using a unigue way of manipulating the audience in a confusing sense,it star's daffy duck who is tormented by a seemingly sadistic,unseen animator,who constanly change's daffy's location,clothing,voice,physical apperance,and even shape,then to find out it's his rival bug's bunny by rubbing him out.
snow white and the seven dwarf's-Is a 1937 American animated film based on the brother's Grimm fairy tale snow white,It was the first Full length cel-animated feature in motion picture history,as well as the first animated feature film in america,the first to be produced in color,and also the first to be produced by walt disney.
toy story-Is a 1995 computer animated family film directed by john lasseter and featuring the voice's of tom hank's and tim allen,Lasseter spoke on the challenge's of the computer animation in the film.the effect's took many recreation's that had to make everythink look more organic by making every leaf and blade of grass it had to be created in its single form to match to one whole scene.The film began with animated storyboard's to guide the animator's in developing the characters.
Conclusion : I would like to create a stop motion piece similar to Tim burton's "Corpse bride"and the Wallace and Gromit prolligy's.

Unit 5 LO1.2 Avatar
1) The markerting is simpily there to make you want to go and watch the film that is being advertised, for Avatar many year's of creativty and effort has been put into the releasment of the film the trailer invole's high level's of action and adrenaline within with the most exciting clips and action scene's in the movie involving the most popular saying's and scariest fight's in the movie and the most beautiful animated structure's which make's the movie a whole , to excite you and leave you wanting more.
